The World Trade Center HUB in New York served as a major inspiration for this project. This architecture highlights the endless procession of vertical lines. The vertical supports which are a modified triangle in shape, are illuminated in such a way that the fronts are brighter than the sides creating enormous depth. The circular form of the fixture takes cues from classical Greek and Roman temples in order to be symmetrical to all viewers sitting around a table. The luminaire is made from biodegradable 3D printed parts, combining sustainability and innovation.
