The shared element throughout the common areas of the mall was people. The lighting concept grew out of the nature of people flowing (more dense in smaller areas). With this higher density of people, lighting density increases. This is achieved through placing linear LED luminaires along the perimeter of the hall aimed toward the ceiling. Since the geometry of the hall narrows and widens, there is an allusion that the lights are brighter in the narrow sections.
