Old Main at Penn State

A design project which engaged students and professionals to design new lighting for Penn State's historic Old Main.

This project was a joint research endeavor between WJE and Penn State Architectural Engineering to engage a group of students to re-design the lighting for the Old Main Facade and Bell Tower. As student lead on the project, I had the opportunity to interface with construction professionals and students to deliver schematic level lighting solutions.

My main role on the project was the design and engineering of the new lighting in the lantern. This lighting would illuminate the lantern for the first time in 50 years.

This project was completed in collaboration with Sam Komber, Luke Sorber, Tessa Kisenwether, Maria del Castillo, Brendan Crowe, Rachel Lee and Giovanni Luciani.
